Reacting sharply on the decision of N F Railway in regards to the extension of Hill Queen train up to Silchar, The joint Action Committee of several apolitical and social organizations like All Dimasa Students Union, Dimasa Students Union, Bengali Yuba Chatra Parishad have decided not to allow running any goods train through Dima Hasao from February 27^th for an indefinite period if the Railway authority fails to rethink judiciously its decision of extension of Hill Queen train.
In this connection, a well attended serious and solemn meeting, convened by the Public Service Forum was held at the premises of Waimijing, where in representatives from various organizations like Jadikhe Naiso Hosom ( Dimasa Apex Body) Waimijing, All Dimasa Students Union, Dimasa Students Union, Bengali Yuba Chatra Parishad etc were present.
After prolong discussion the house resolved to submit a memorandum to the Union Railway Minister with a copy to the General Manager, N F Railway on February 25^th and after the submission of the said memorandum, if the railway does not change the decision of extension of the Hill Queen, they will be compelled to go further more.
