NEW DELHI, Oct. 3
– A tripartite agreement among Centre, State Government and the two factions of DHD is likely to be signed on October 8 in presence of Union Home Minister, Sushil Kumar Shinde and Chief Minister, Tarun Gogoi.
Sources said that the negotiations with Dilip Nunisa faction and rival Jewel Garlossa faction wrapped up and draft agreements have been sealed.
The final accord is now pending before the Cabinet Committee of Parliamentary Affairs for final approval, before the deal is formally signed. The Home Ministry has already cleared the draft proposals with other Central Ministries.
